The Week of Concerts Starts Tonight

5 shows in 6 days. So it’s not technically a week straight of concerts but anybody that goes to lots of shows consecutively knows it can be draining and exhausting…and all you’re doing is listening to music. So that’s what I’ll be doing.

I figured I should highlight some of the music that I’m going to see in Denver this upcoming week. I might also be bragging a little bit about all the bands I get to see. Tonight is Horse Feathers, a great folk band from Portland. Here’s their song Belly of June.

Tomorrow night, it’s actually the flexible date, I have tickets to a dubstep show but I’m more likely to go to Danger, the French DJ

Monday is Of Monsters and Men. I’m excited for their Icelandic folk pop. Really excited in fact.

Tuesday will be my first show at Red Rocks. I held out last year because I don’t like spending a lot of money on tickets but the triple headline of The Shins, Blind Pilot, and especially The Head and The Heart ensured I’d be their the first day back from the Memorial Day weekend.

Wednesday is the day off and then Thursday I return to Red Rocks for Bon Iver.

All in all, I’m pretty excited for the week of concerts that starts tonight.
