Whether Gibbard is writing songs for Death Cab for Cutie or for The Postal Service, we know we can expect sentimental lyrics disguised with not-so-sad music. So it’s no surprise that Teardrop Windows is just as you would expect: glorifiably sad, yet loveable. Nobody can deny that that’s the exact reason we still listen to The Postal Service’s Give Up album cover to cover every time we’re feeling down, or any of the seven Death Cab albums for that matter.
Be sure to check out the track, and get his album when it comes out. It’s sure to be a good one.
