Oh Stereo – Waiting For The Sun
Through a We All Want Someone To Shout For post, I was introduced to the duo, Oh Stereo. The pair from Nashville, Tennessee is one part Scott Marquart and one part Mason Hickman. And the recipe is delicious synth pop. Their first album, Oh Stereo, will be released December 2nd.
Waiting For The Sun is the first single off the self-titled album and it’s a positive harbinger. The song starts with a chimey intro that sets the mood of a magical sound. We All Want Someone To Shout For tossed out a Passion Pit comparison–that’s not the first comparison that came to my mind but after listening to Waiting For The Sun a couple times, I can definitely understand where that comparison comes from. Suffice to say, the future looks bright for the electronic duo.
