Parenthetical Girls – Careful Who You Dance With

Parenthetical Girls

Originally from Washington state, now from Portland, Parenthetical Girls is an experimental rock, indie pop band that currently consists of multi-talented musicians like Zac Pennington, Rachael Jensen, Jherek Bischoff, Freddy Ruppert, and Eddy Crichton.

They’ve been receiving a bunch of recent coverage because there’s a new video for their song, The Pornographer, but I’m not too interested in that song as much as I am in Careful Who You Dance With. Both songs are on the latest EP, Privilege, Pt. III: Mend & Make Do.

Careful Who You Dance With is straight 80′s. The first time I heard the track, I had to double-check that (1) it was actually released last week and (2) that it was actually the track and not some flub where it was replaced from some other track. I guess that initial reaction made an impression on me and why I’m posting it.

They’ve also recently released an album of rare covers that you can find on Bandcamp. Be sure to connect with them on Facebook and enjoy Careful Who You Dance With.
