The Avett Brothers – The Once and Future Carpenter

On an episode of CMT’s Unplugged, the Avett Brothers unveiled The Once and Future Carpenter, which you can watch here. The North Carolina folk rock trio debuted the song as they prepare the follow-up to I and Love and You.

With a fairly strong streak of Americana music, the Avett Brothers are and should continue to be at the forefront of the genre’s revival. This song exemplifies why. It gives us hope their next record will be as good as their last one.
