Dark Mean – Happy Banjo
Dark Mean started recording their first album in 2007 and they recently released it last month. Four years of devotion is extraordinary. Hailing from Hamilton, Canada, Mark Dean, Billy Holmes, and Sandy Johnston endured obstacles and challenges to persevere. With devotion, the result was an album they could be proud of and one that we can enjoy.
Mark’s vocals remind me a little of David McMillan and coupled with the banjo, I have been thoroughly enjoying Happy Banjo since it was sent in. You can enjoy the music video above or just stream it below. The whole album is quality as well.
Dark Mean’s self-titled debut is available for streaming at Bandcamp and you can download this song for free. Check it out. Seriously; this page isn’t going anywhere.
Also check them out at their website and on Facebook.
